Yep! That’s me, Liz, playing Nintendo at the NY Auto Show! You can, too, if you visit this week as Toyota has its all-new 2024 Grand Highlander on display and the company customized one so that people can play video games out of it.
In this video I’ll be sharing my favorite SUVs from the auto show, so be sure to watch until the end and give it a thumbs up!
This all-new Toyota Grand Highlander SUV slots between the Sequoia and the standard three-row Highlander. It’s not just size that the new Grand Highlander brings, as it offers a potent “Hybrid MAX” powertrain that makes up to 362 horsepower and so that makes this Toyota’s most powerful midsize SUV to date.
Moving on to Jeep! Jeep unveiled its 2024 Wrangler at the NY Auto Show with greater capability, new tech, and advanced safety features. Take notice of the new seven-slot grille and the multiple open-air freedom options including the “Sky One-Touch” powertop. The interior of every Wrangler is now more comfortable with available 12-way power front seats and a larger, standard 12.3” touchscreen. And there are two new models expanding the portfolio: the Sport S 4xe and the Rubicon X.
And of course we had to stop by Kia to check out the all-new 2024 Kia EV9 and this is the GT behind me here in blue.
It was the three-row all-electric SUV's North American debut and what's interesting is this will be Kia’s first EV assembled in the United States. Despite its size, the EV9 targets 300 miles of range and it promises a 0 to 60 mph sprint of just 5.0 seconds for the dual-motor GT-Line.
Next, I have to show you this GV80 concept. Now it is technically a coupe concept, but it combines the practicality of a lifestyle-oriented SUV with the dynamism of a sports car. It’s a downright gorgeous vehicle.
