The all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus SUV is downright gorgeous! It recently made its global debut, and so we had to share the details with you. The midsize premium SUV has been redesigned both inside and out, and so there’s a lot more to love about the new Nautilus SUV including its massive new 48” display inside the cabin that stretches across the entire dashboard!
“For more than a century, Lincoln has been recognized for its exquisite design and craftsmanship, and as we look ahead to the future, we reimagined the cabin experience and what the sanctuary can become for our clients,” said Dianne Craig, president of Lincoln.
Orders are now open for the SUV ahead of deliveries beginning early next year. It will be available with the Lincoln BlueCruise 1.2 hands-free highway driver-assist system, and also an optional 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid engine!
Experts in the industry have been quick to point out the new higher starting price for the all-new Nautilus, though. Its starting price has gone up by at least $5,500 over the previous model and so that may deter some customers from buying, however the upgrades are honestly worth the added price and you have to also consider what’s been going on with inflation and the overall economy. The base Premier trim of the 2024 Nautilus starts at $51,810. There are also Reserve and Black Label trims.
Reimagined Interior Combines Tech with Luxury
The stylish interior of the all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus features a massive 48” display that extends across the entire dashboard and is operated by an 11.1” touchscreen below it! The display can be personalized to your liking. You have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The cabin also features new ambient lighting and crystal-inspired details throughout that capture the essence of seeing sun reflected on water.
You have Lincoln Rejuvenate to help put you in a good mood. It orchestrates specially curated sensory experiences for you that are tied to lighting, screen visuals, seating preferences, and massage options. It creates a digital sanctuary for you based on different moods!
Available as part of Lincoln Rejuvenate and as a standalone feature, you can have specially curated digital scents for the cabin. Three scent cartridges which are housed in the center armrest are included. The scents are Mystic Forest, Ozonic Azure, and Violet Cashmere. Clients can choose from three levels of scent. How fancy!
You’ll love the immersive audio you get from the award-winning available Revel Ultima 3D Audio System which features 28 speakers. Paired with the available 24-way driver and front passenger seats, the Nautilus helps create a concert-like experience for you on the road!
There are three new available interior color themes: Black Onyx and Medium Light Space Gray, Smoked Truffle, and Black Onyx and Allura Blue (offered as a Reserve model theme). The exclusive Black Onyx Sport interior features a Copper Code aluminum appliqué, which is enhanced by Dusted Copper accent stitching throughout.
Flashy New Exterior
As for the all-new Nautilus’ exterior, its bold design commands attention! It has an evolved face with a new signature grille that Lincoln says is hand-crafted with attention to detail. The dynamic new exterior also features all-new LED headlamps and all-new LED taillamps with animation. There’s also available H2 Pixel Headlamps. And the new signature lighting elements for the Nautilus including the lit Lincoln star and signature front light bar represent the brand’s lighting vision for the future.
There are four signature exterior body colors: Red Carpet, Diamond Red, Chroma Caviar and Blue Panther.
If you go with the Jet Appearance Package, which is available on all trims, you’ll get two-tone paint, available high gloss-black 22” wheels, an exclusive interior environment, and anodized black exterior elements.
Two Powertrain Choices
The all-new Nautilus offers two powertrain options. There’s a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine as well as a 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid. The standard 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine targets 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to an eight speed automatic transmission. Lincoln says the new 2.0-liter engine with standard all-wheel drive has light weighting benefits, which results in maximized fuel economy over the prior model year.
As for the hybrid powertrain, it’s available on all trim levels and is targeted to achieve a total system output of 310-hp. It is mated to a continuously variable transmission with a 100kW electric motor.
As we mentioned earlier, the Nautilus is one of the first vehicles in its class with an available hands-free highway driving system that gives drivers additional comfort and confidence when in traffic or when on long journeys.
Lane Change Assist enables the 2024 Nautilus to perform a hands-free lane change when requested by the driver tapping the turn signal, and it can even suggest if a lane change would be beneficial when following slow-moving traffic!
Over-the-air software updates also help the Nautilus get better over time.
Pricing/Competitors
The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus has a starting price of $51,810 including the destination fee for the entry-level Premier trim. If you want the highest level trim, you’ll have to play closer to $80,000.
As for competitors for the midsize Nautilus SUV, there’s the Lexus RX, the Cadillac XT5, Genesis GV80, Volvo XC60, the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, and others. Again, the all-new model can be ordered now and deliveries will begin early next year.
