Hi guys! Liz Jeneault here of SUVs.com, back with another 2-minute review and this week, we’re taking a look at the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and I want to make sure I thank Maguire Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Syracuse for having me by!
If you remember, Jeep first introduced its 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain last year with the Wrangler, and Jeep says those models sold well. So, applying that same treatment to its best-selling Grand Cherokee just made sense. And honestly, there’s so much I love about this vehicle.
It has a stunning exterior, and you do have the blue accents and touches that let you know it’s a 4xe. You have the blue front tow hooks, and the blue accents within the badging.
Inside, it’s luxurious. I spent extra time just hanging out in this vehicle while shooting it because it’s that comfortable. It really is incredible how far Jeep has come in terms of all the fancy comfort features these luxury models offer. And this Overland model features navigation and heated and ventilated front seats.
Hey, check out the Night Vision! It’s just part of the great tech offered. And I love the striking dual-pane sunroof that lets in lots of light.
The turbocharged engine along with the electric motors in the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe have a net combined power output of 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque! It also offers 25 miles of pure EV range. The EPA combined rating is 56 MPGe and don’t forget about its off-road advantage and towing capacity, as well as standard four-wheel drive.
Recap and rating time now! Exterior is handsome, 8.5. Interior is lovely with big screens, comfy seats, the massive dual-pane sunroof, McIntosh Audio, 9. Plug-in hybrid performance is solid, 8.5.
