This week we’re taking a look at the 2023 Maserati Grecale SUV. This is the Modena, there’s also the GT and Trofeo available. And there’s going to be an all-electric version of the Grecale available, too.
The small luxury performance SUV has a great look, which is inspired by Maserati’s other vehicles.
This trim makes 325 horsepower from its mild hybrid propulsion system. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and you have the various drive modes which actually adjust the SUV’s height.
And what’s exciting is this Grecale is now the most affordable new Maserati you can buy. It starts from $63,500 for the GT, which makes 296-hp.
And for that price, you’re getting a highly luxurious SUV. The interior is spacious and aesthetically clean looking. You have the largest screen ever featured in a Maserati with the 12.3” center screen and take a look at the gorgeous steering wheel. The drive mode selector is located on it, as is the power button, and you have aluminum paddle shifters adding to the sporty vibe. There are two more screens, one under the center and another for the rear passengers. There’s heated and ventilated front seats with the Maserati logo, an incredible Sonus faber sound system, and look at this striking sunroof in privacy glass.
Now the most powerful version of this SUV makes 523-hp, but the EV version is also going to reportedly make over 500-horsepower.
Recap and rating time now of this SUV! Exterior is beautiful, 9. Interior is clean, gorgeous, and it has solid space for a small SUV, 9. It’s impressive you get different options for performance including, eventually, the EV and so I rate that an 8.5. Fuel economy figures are not going to be great for the Trofeo, but remember an EV is on the way, 8. And overall value I’ll rate a 9 considering its starting price and that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 87/100.
