This week we’re taking a look at Cadillac’s first all-electric vehicle, the 2023 Lyriq, and I want to make sure I thank Valley Cadillac for having me by!
The first thing you’ll notice about the Lyriq is its animated LED exterior lighting. Here’s a look at the Lyriq at night. Free from the need for a traditional grille, the LEDs that make up the Black Crystal Shield, as Cadillac calls it, create a stunning effect! And the cool vertical lighting continues at the rear. There are also large wheels, and you have the fixed all-glass roof that lets in lots of light.
It helps the luxurious interior feel more spacious. It’s clean, simple, modern, and inviting. The standout feature is the 33” diagonal LED display with 9K resolution. It pairs well with the advanced ambient lighting and the beautiful center console with its unique design and helpful storage underneath. The seats have speakers in them, I love that. And you do have over 60 cubic feet of cargo space in the back with the rear seats folded down. You can just press the Cadillac Crest to get your trunk to open, and the same goes for the charge port.
There are RWD and AWD models. The RWD model makes up to 340 horsepower and it has a solid estimated driving range of 312 miles. The AWD model adds another motor and so it makes up to 500 hp. Range estimates are not yet available. There’s also available Super Cruise technology. Many safety features come standard.
