Today we’re taking a look at the 2022 Maserati Levante and I want to make sure I thank Maserati of Rochester for having me by.
This is the GT model. The Levante lineup was overhauled for 2022, and so there’s a new trim arrangement. But not every luxury performance SUV has a twin-turbo V6 to start with, which this GT does. It makes up to 345 horsepower, but that’s far from the most powerful Levante.
The signature front grille surrounds the iconic Maserati Trident, and you’ll also notice the updated Maserati logos. The wheels are stylish, as are the headlights and new "boomerang" shaped taillights.
Inside, you’ll find signature Italian style with space for five and a standard dual-pane panoramic moonroof with tinted glass. The luxurious materials, Sport seats, and Sport steering wheel are all lovely. There’s a new generation infotainment system with an 8.4” touchscreen, and also a wireless touchpad.
As for performance, your entry-level GT here packs 345 horsepower, but the most powerful Levante offers up to 580 horsepower and takes this SUV from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds! That’s the Levante Trofeo. There are also two more power outputs for the 2022 Levante. All versions feature Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, and are paired with an eight-speed automatic.
Recap and rating time now of this SUV!
Exterior is stylish and sporty, 9. Interior is polished, luxurious, and sophisticated, 9. Performance is impressive with up to 580 horsepower, 9. Fuel economy figures are not going to be that stellar, 6.5. And with a starting price of over $84,700 for the GT model, we’ll rate overall value an 8. And that results in an overall SUVs.com deal score rating of 83/100.
And of course I’d love to know what you think about this SUV, so please do leave a comment below!
