2022 Kia EV6 - 2 Minute Review

Published March 21, 2022 by Elizabeth Jeneault

Hi guys! Liz Jeneault here, back with another 2-minute review and this week we’re looking at the 2022 Kia EV6. And I want to make sure I thank Kia of East Syracuse for having me by.

As you can see, the EV6 is quite edgy looking. You have the LED lighting up front here and also at the back, where the high rear deck serves as a spoiler. The flush door handles give this all-electric SUV a modern flair. And of course, the EV6 sports Kia’s new logo.

Inside, you have space for five and the front seats are slim to actually make for more rear passenger room. But those seats are still comfortable, heated, and they face the large dual 12.3” panoramic screens that form a wide, horizontal curved display that extends across the instrument panel. There’s wireless charging and a 14-speaker Meridian Premium Audio System. You have cargo space in the back, room for a few small items in the front trunk, and plenty of storage throughout.

Rear-wheel drive is standard, but dual motor all-wheel drive is available. This is the Wind e-AWD model, which makes up to 320 horsepower and has a 0 to 60 mph time of just 4.6 seconds. It offers a range of up to 274 miles. Some of the rear-wheel drive trims offer up to 310 miles of range, though. A performance GT version is also expected sometime in the future.

Recap and rating time now of this EV6. The exterior is fun, modern, and edgy, 9. Interior is futuristic and more spacious than one would think, 9. Performance is impressive considering all the variety you have, 8.5. It offers between 232 and 310 miles of range, so we’ll rate the vehicle a 7.5 in that area. And overall value I’ll rate an 8.

And that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 84/100.
