2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer - 2 Minute Review

Published December 13, 2021 by Elizabeth Jeneault

Wouldn’t it be nice to find this $110,000 Jeep sitting in your driveway this Christmas, possibly with the fireplace feature running? It’s the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and I’m so excited to be reviewing it today. Liz Jeneault, by the way, of SUVs.com and I want to make sure I thank Maguire Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Syracuse.

Notice this intricately designed grille, as well as the large Wagoneer nameplate and signature LED lighting. The large wheels are elegant and aggressive, and how about these power retractable running boards? They automatically hide when you’re inside for uninterrupted exterior style.

And speaking of the inside, it’s highly luxurious. You’ll find American walnut and authentic metal surfaces. These 24-way front seats are heated, cooled, ventilated, and offer massage.  Plus, there’s a cooler between them. You have four screens up front, including a passenger movie screen that’s invisible to the driver. Love the fireplace setting when parked. There’s also a head-up display and digital rearview mirror. Then, there are three more screens in the second row! Two behind the headrests and one in the middle where passengers can access the four-zone climate control.

The three-row Wagoneer delivers versatility and comfort on a grand scale with impressive legroom. Even your third row feels luxurious and the rows are easy to fold. You can choose to have a bench in the middle to fit eight. The tri-pane panoramic sunroof and 23-speaker sound system add to the vibe.

And underneath the hood of the Grand Wagoneer is the 6.4-liter V8 engine that makes 471 hp and 455 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive. The Quadra-Lift Air Suspension and Selec-Terrain Traction Management system are also standard. And this Grand Wagoneer can tow up to 9,850 pounds!

Recap and rating time now of this 2022 Grand Wagoneer! Exterior is badass, 9. Interior is just stunning. A jeep unlike any other, it has everything you could want tech and comfort wise. I’ll rate it a 10. Performance, 9.5. Fuel economy is predictably not great and so a 6 there. Overall value, 9.5.

And that results in an SUVS.com deal score of 88/100!

And I’d obviously love to know your thoughts about this Jeep, so please do leave a comment below!
