2022 Audi Q4 E-Tron - 2 Minute Review

Published September 13, 2022 by Elizabeth Jeneault

This week, we’re taking a look at the first-ever, all-new 2022 Q4 e-tron SUV and I want to make sure I thank Audi Cherry Hill for having us by.

The Q4 e-tron is part of Audi’s ongoing push to expand its EV portfolio and that push began with the 2019 e-tron. A few years later, Audi announced they’d be coming out with the first-ever Q4 e-tron, striking a balance between the best-selling Q5 and the smaller Q3.

It did take longer than expected for the Q4 to arrive, but there are most certainly fans who’d argue it was worth the wait. And Audi actually refers to this SUV as its most approachable EV yet. It does have a more affordable starting price than the e-tron. It starts at $53,300.

The Q4 e-tron has a futuristic look to it with its bold grille and striking LED headlights. You can also get the Q4 in the Sportback body style.

Its luxurious modern interior features a large central touchscreen and digital instrument cluster, standard leather seating, wood trim, and ambient lighting. And the range-topping Prestige trim features navigation and Audi virtual cockpit plus.

The dual electric motors help make up to 295 horsepower with boost engaged. The Q4 can reach a top speed of 112 miles per hour and it offers a range of up to 241 miles. It comes with standard quattro all-wheel drive to help you drive confidently in all types of weather.

Recap and rating time now of the all-new Q4 e-tron!

Exterior is stylish and makes a bold statement, 9. Interior is modern, comfortable, and luxurious, 9.5. Its electric performance is an 8.5. It offers a range of up to 241 miles, so we’ll rate it an 8 in the range department. And overall value we’ll rate a 9 and that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 88/100.
