2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio - 2 Minute Review

Published August 1, 2022 by Elizabeth Jeneault

This week we’re taking a look at the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV and I want to make sure I thank Alfa Romeo of Rochester for having me by!

This is the Quadrifoglio trim and so it’s the most powerful one. It features a Ferrari-derived twin-turbocharged V6 engine that makes 505-horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. More about that later.

The exterior exudes Italian style, with the distinctive grille making a statement. This Quadrifoglio trim also has unique design features, such as the flashy wheels and red brake calipers with Alfa Romeo script.

Inside, you’ll find a flat-bottom Formula One-inspired steering wheel and an upscale, newly refined center console. There’s standard leather seating, heated front and rear seats, a standard wireless charging pad, and much more. There’s a striking 8.8” multi-touch display that can be controlled in several ways and there’s also navigation with it.

As for performance, your standard turbocharged engine for most Stelvio trims produces 280 horsepower. You have the DNA Drive Mode Selector, an eight-speed automatic, and available all-wheel drive. The Quadrifoglio trim we toured is capable of going from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds. It features a twin-turbocharged V6 engine under the hood that makes an impressive 505-hp!

Recap and rating time now of this Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV!

Exterior is stunning, I love it, 9. Interior is handsome, another 9. Performance with this Quadrifoglio trim is more than impressive, 9.5. Fuel economy figures are about what you’d expect, 7.5. And overall value, I’ll rate that an 8.5.

And that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 87/100.
