Hi there! Liz Jeneault here back with another 2-minute reviebenw and this week, we’re reviewing the 2021 Subaru Outback. This model has the impressive 11.6” touchscreen, so let’s take a closer look — and I first want to make sure I thank Bill Rapp Subaru of Syracuse.
Depending on the trim, there are different exterior accents. This model has a power moonroof, which is nice. You’ll notice the standard raised roof rails here with integrated tie-downs. They make hauling your kayak, skis, or other gear so much easier. There’s also 8.7” of ground clearance, which is quite impressive.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious, comfortable, and quiet interior. There’s also a large tablet-style touchscreen in this model. It’s 11.6” in size! Even the base model has an impressive multimedia setup, though, with dual 7” touchscreens. It features standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The power moonroof makes the interior feel even more spacious, and there’s plenty of cargo space in the back when you fold the seats down.
The standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system with X-MODE truly sets the Outback apart from its competitors. It’s an incredible system, along with the 8.7” of ground clearance and all the advanced safety features. There’s two engine options with the Outback. The standard 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER with 182 horsepower that gets up to 33 miles per gallon highway, and the available turbocharged 2.4-liter that makes 260 hp. The Outback is also a highly safe vehicle and, as I mentioned before, it is engineered to last.
Recap and rating time now of the 2021 Subaru Outback! The exterior looks rugged and ready for adventure, I’ll rate that an 8. Interior is comfortable, spacious, offers solid technology, and so I’ll rate it an 8.5. Performance is impressive when you consider the standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and 8.7” of ground clearance, so a 9 there. Fuel efficiency is solid, so another 9. And overall value I’ll rate at a 9.5, considering its more affordable price and how it’s built to last. And so that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 88/100!
And I’d love to know what you think about the 2021 Subaru Outback! Be sure to leave a comment below!
