2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid - 2 Minute Review

Published September 10, 2021 by Elizabeth Jeneault

Hi guys! Liz Jeneault here, back with another 2-minute review and this week we’re taking a look at the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid. This hybrid SUV makes up to 670 combined horsepower with the Sport Chrono Package! And I want to make sure I thank Porsche Cherry Hill.

There are a number of different Cayenne models to choose from, but this one delivers the most powerful engine output in the model range and so it obviously has a great sporty look to it. You can also get this Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid in the coupe body style, with seating for up to five or four with the two individual rear bucket seats.

This is the SUV body style, but it’s still instantly recognizable as a Porsche and the LED-Matrix design headlights with the four-point LED daytime running lights leave a lasting impression.

Inside, the 18-way leather sport seats are comfortable. As you can see, there’s plenty of space for your five passengers. Four-zone climate control keeps everyone comfortable, while ambient lighting and this panoramic sunroof help set the mood. Love the Porsche crest that’s embossed on the headrests.

The Porsche Communication Management system works with this striking 12.3” touchscreen display, which listens to your voice.

Performance is where this vehicle shines. It’s wildly fun to drive with its 0-60 mph time of just 3.6 seconds. And it makes 670 combined horsepower, thanks to its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 541 horsepower and its 134-hp electric motor that’s mated to a 14.1 kWh battery. All Cayenne models feature Porsche’s all-wheel drive system as standard.

Recap and rating time now of this Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid. Exterior is sporty, striking, 9. Interior is modern, sporty, and comfortable, another 9. Performance is impressive as this is a hybrid and it delivers the most powerful engine output in the Cayenne model range, 9.5. Fuel economy figures aren’t that stellar but it is one of the quickest and fastest SUVs on the market, so what would you expect? 7 there. And overall value I’ll rate an 8.5 because it is so expensive. It’s an incredible vehicle, but it starts at over $165,000.

And that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 86/100!

And I’d love to know your thoughts about this powerful and luxurious hybrid SUV, so please be sure to leave a comment below.
