Hi guys! Liz Jeneault, back with another 2-minute review and I’m so excited to be reviewing the full-size Ford Bronco today! And I want to make sure I thank Davidson Ford of Clay.
There are many different series available. This one is the Big Bend with the available Sasquatch Package and so it has 35” tires, higher-clearance fender flares, an additional suspension lift, and front and rear locking differentials.
You’ll notice the iconic round headlights and the large Bronco nameplate. The doors are longer on this model than the 4-door and that’s for easier access to the back. There are also these grab handles to help you get in. This model seats four, the 4-doors seat five.
You’ll notice the Hero Switches here that help you control your off-roading adventures. They’re actually sealed to protect them from mud and water.
One of the best things about the Bronco is how you can take the doors and roof off. It takes just one person to remove the various sections of the roof for that open-air feel.
The interior finishes vary depending on the series, but what’s nice is you can hose the inside down with some models. There are even marine-grade vinyl seating surfaces that help resist mildew.
There’s either an 8” or 12” touchscreen with the infotainment system, and there’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under this hood, you’ll find the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 that makes up to 330 hp and is paired to a 10-speed automatic. You also have the option of the standard turbocharged 4-cylinder that’s paired to either the 10-speed automatic or a seven-speed manual.
Recap and rating time now of this full-size Ford Bronco!
Exterior is badass, we’ll rate that a 10. Interior is exciting and especially with the doors and roof off, 10 there. Performance is impressive when you consider all the off-road capabilities, 9.5. Fuel economy is what you’d expect, 8. And being that this is such an iconic vehicle that has been done so well, I’ll give it an overall value of 9. And that results in an SUVS.com deal score of 93/100.
I just love this SUV, but I want to know what you all think! Please be sure to leave a comment below.
