This is the most dynamic Range Rover. It’s the Range Rover Sport and it’s designed for impact!
It now has a more diverse powertrain lineup, looks even better, and it’s more affordable than the Range Rover.

Now this is the 2020 HSE Dynamic trim and so it produces 515 horsepower, which is quite impressive!
But let’s first start with the exterior. Love the large, sporty wheels, the wraparound LED headlights, refreshed front and rear bumpers, and the redesigned hood vents.
Moving inside, look at these cool seats! They help add so much flair and what’s nice is that you do have the option of adding a third row for two additional seats.
There’s highly impressive technology inside with dual 10” screens, a 12” interactive driver display, head-up display, navigation, ambient lighting, basically everything you’d want. You can also opt for rear seat entertainment!
One sticking point is the cargo space. It offers less than competitors, but there’s now more storage throughout the cabin.
There’s also now a more diverse powertrain lineup, including a new plug-in hybrid! There also remains a mild-hybrid and a turbocharged diesel V6. Plus, there’s the supercharged 5.0-liter gas V8 that you see here. It actually produces 575 horsepower in the range-topping SVR!
All-wheel drive is standard and there’s an eight-speed automatic. It’s highly capable and its systems can handle difficult terrain. It can wade in depths of up to 33.5 inches!
Recap and rating time! Exterior is excellent, 9. Interior is stunning, but cargo space is on the small side. 8. I’ll rate performance at an 8.5 as there’s so much variety and power. Fuel economy figures vary, we’ll rate that at an 8. And as for overall value, the Range Rover Sport starts around $65,000 and so it is more affordable than its full-size sibling and it still does offer a whole lot. The price can quickly climb, though. I’ll give it an 8.

With a powerful, muscular stance and dynamic on-road character and all-terrain capability, there’s just so much to love about this luxury SUV.
