Liz Jeneault of SUVs.com and this week, I have a review of a full-size SUV for you! It’s of the dynamic looking Nissan Armada, Nissan’s largest SUV with standard seating for eight.
And I want to make sure I thank Maguire Nissan of Syracuse for having me by.
As you can see, the Armada is a large vehicle with a bold exterior. You have the muscular black color grille, the large wheels, LED headlights and taillights, and nice chrome accents.
Movie inside, you’ll see there’s lots of space in the second row. There are optional captain’s chairs in this Platinum, but it does typically come standard with seating for eight. As you can see, there’s a DVD entertainment system for entertaining people in the back. That third row is also great to have, and it folds down for more cargo space.
This Platinum trim has some of the nicest features like the DVD entertainment system, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and this sliding moonroof.
The Armada’s main infotainment screen could be larger, though, considering the SUV’s size. It also lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
As for performance, the Armada packs a powerful 5.6-liter V8 engine that churns out 390 horsepower. When properly equipped, the SUV can tow up to 8,500 pounds. It’s available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations. The large vehicle drives a lot smoother than you’d expect. Plus, lots of safety features at work to protect what truly matters!
Recap and rating now of this 2020 Nissan Armada! Exterior is a 9 as I do love the design. Interior is a 7.5 as the infotainment could be better, but there’s lots of space. Performance I rate at an 8. Fuel economy figures are not that great and so a 5.5 there. And overall value I’ll rate at an 8 because it does have a lower starting price than many competitors, but it is still a solid and dynamic looking full-size SUV option for families.
And that results in an SUVs.com deal score of 76/100. Thanks so much for watching!
