From the video:
This beautiful Porsche Cayenne here is a luxury midsize SUV which offers great style and impressive performance. There are several powerful engine options and all offer quick acceleration. Inside, there’s elegant styling. But, all this performance and luxury does come at a significant cost. The Cayenne is more expensive than some of its competitors.
I’m Liz Jeneault with SUVs.com, by the way. Happy you found your way here for our review of the Cayenne. Big thanks to Porsche of Cherry Hill for letting us check out this SUV.
The Cayenne has a great, sporty look to match what’s under the hood. Got to love the Porsche crest here, right? And this SUV just looks good, much better than it used to years ago. Porsche has really made leaps and bounds with it. Love the premium LED headlights here and this light bar in the back is cool, too.
Let’s quickly move inside, though, because the materials in here are just gorgeous. This Cayenne S has beautiful Bordeaux red leather for the interior. I also love how even in the back here, you get the sport seats and also the same climate controls as you do in the front. These rear seats fold easily, by the way, for more cargo space. There isn’t a huge amount of standard cargo space, but it works just fine.
You can tell the Cayenne is a high-quality vehicle by driving it. This S model features a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 which churns out 434 horsepower! The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic and this vehicle is all-wheel drive. But, there are also standard, Turbo, and E-Hybrid models to keep in mind and they have different engines. The Turbo line’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 offers a whopping 541 horsepower!
Recap and rating time! Exterior styling is great, 8 there. Interior is wonderful, especially with this S model here. Love the panoramic sunroof, the sport seats, this gorgeous red leather. 9 there. This SUV was made for performance, you can tell that, and it handles well so I rate it as a 9 in the performance department. Fuel economy is average at 18 mpg city, 23 highway. So, 7 there. This SUV does carry a high price tag, but it does offer great performance and styling. So, 7 in value.
That results in an SUVs.com deal score of 80 out of 100. I’d love to know what you like about the Cayenne!
